Norwegian mountain hut stands on stilts, to preserve native reindeer of MOSS

Located in Stor-Elvdal, Norway, this beautiful mountain is 900 metres above sea level. Hug the sloping landscape, is L-shaped shelter on a small concrete wall and several stilts, cause minimal impact on the ground. The interiors are bright and filled with natural light thanks to massive window, frame beautiful view of the surroundings.

The cabin is built mainly of local pinewood, and the ceiling is made of plywood rectangles painted in 19 different colours. All outdoor wood was minimally treated, exposing natural beauty of the wood.
