Dogchitecture showcases an amazing array of canine-friendly shelters. Specially created for the exhibition, the tiny houses were envisioned by cutting edge Mexican studios including Productora, Rojkind Arquitectos, BNKR and A-001. Far from the average wooden or plastic shelters stocked by pet shops, these wonderful creations were custom-made for different breeds out of assorted materials.

The projects range from flat-pack, recycled and origami-inspired designs to sculptural shelters that integrate plants. Mexico’s first canine architecture show is currently on display at DF’s Polyforum Siqueiros and it will tour around the country soon.

We’re happy to see designers working to make animals happier – now we’d like to see some Catchitecture please!
