World Architecture Festival is the world's most hot expected architecture awards event, so we are pleased to learn that some of our favorite projects, in made to shortlist announced this year recently. The short list has more than 300 projects in 50 countries in categories ranging from apartments to culture, sports and schools, to name just a few. Some of the most famous architects, who were nominated for the 2013 World Architecture Festival include bamboo architecture master vo trong Nghia, Tadao Ando and Zaha Hadid. "In the wake of this strong competition at last year's Awards, expectations were understandably high the WAF Awards 2013 and the entries did not disappoint," said Paul Finch, Director of the WAF program. "From the subtle to the spectacular from a four-bedroom house on a 80-Tower, reflected the outstanding quality and diversity in the array of projects nominated today demonstrates the increasingly global nature of the event. "All eyes are now on the festival venue, the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, where the architects battle for their individual categories the winning projects in the competition to win the coveted World Building of the year award."
The sixth annual World Architecture Festival from October 2-4 in Singapore and as the caliber of the architects and projects that are competing, this year's fair promises not to disappoint.
