Niall McLaughlin Architects to the sand-colored stone cross pattern on the facade to create the Bishop Edward King Chapel. The facade emulates the shade of trees around the property and coincides with the historic limestone featured in other buildings on the campus. The chapel above all day lit thanks to a series of Windows, which cover the wooden roof housing, and the extent of the Chapel is shaped like an ellipse.

Wood dominates the Interior of the Church, especially in the form of beautiful arches that draw on the ceiling, to stretch a comparison with the trees outside. The tree-like arcs describe a clinic in the middle of the chapel with a grid of wood, creating an intimate space around the altar in the middle. The columns, which break down into three branches, shade in the course of the day than daylight filter in from the high Windows.
Niall McLaughlin architects design was chosen in a RIBA competition to design a new chapel for the site.
